Overview
3BONT (operated by 3BONT SPORTS DEVELOPMENT) offers two ways to permanently delete your account. Both result in the same deletion — choose whichever is easiest for you. Once your request is processed the deletion is permanent and your account cannot be restored.
Option 1 — Delete Inside the App
If you can still sign in, this is the fastest option. Deletion happens immediately.
- Open the 3BONT app on your phone.
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
- Read the confirmation dialog and tap "Continue".
- Type the word DELETE (in capital letters) to confirm.
- Tap "Delete". Your account is deleted and you are signed out.
Option 2 — Request Deletion by Email
Use this option if you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or prefer to request deletion manually.
- Send an email to contact@3bont.com from the email address registered to your 3BONT account.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- Include in the body: your full name on the account, the phone number you registered with (if known), and a clear statement that you want your account permanently deleted.
- We will verify your identity and confirm deletion by reply email within 7 days. Full data purge completes within 30 days.
What Is Deleted
The following personal data is permanently removed from our active systems:
- Your name, display name, and username
- Your email address and phone number
- Your profile photo and any images you uploaded to your profile
- Your date of birth, city, and bio
- Your social links and privacy preferences
- Your device push notification tokens
- Your authentication record (you will no longer be able to sign in)
What Is Retained
Certain data is retained after account deletion, either for the integrity of shared records or because the law requires it. Retained data is anonymised and no longer tied to your identity:
- Tournament history, match results, and game statistics — these are part of shared competition records and are preserved under the label "[Deleted User]" so other participants' histories remain intact.
- Messages you sent in team or community chats — these remain visible to recipients but are attributed to "[Deleted User]".
- Financial transaction references (for Academy payments) — retained for the period required by accounting and tax law in the Arab Republic of Egypt, typically up to 7 years.
- Any records subject to a legal hold, court order, or ongoing investigation.
Deletion Timeline
Your profile is scrubbed and authentication is revoked immediately. Your personal data is purged from active systems within 30 days. Associated images and backup copies are removed within 30 days.
We reply to confirm within 7 days of receiving a verified request. Full data purge completes within 30 days of confirmation.
